A frosty, foggy orchard we had no business being in., so we learned.
I've read the post. I've visited the forum chats. Oh, I've even minored in business management in college. They say; 'Don't mix family and business.' No one wants to hear about your kid, life, spouse. Stick to what you do and stay on course. Well., I never really succeed at 'group think' and my drum has its own beat. So, if you hate mushy personal stuff, I suggest scroll onward. Also, if grammar is your thing, just never read anything I ever write.
My oldest son is something to be awed. He is about a foot taller than most kids his age, his IQ is higher than most humans, and he has all these special talents, processing, reasoning and understanding interpretations that are both lovely but sometimes not always understood or appreciated - usually by onlookers. He is a unique creation,. a gift. Once a mom told me her son asked why He was so different and she said., "When I was pregnant with you, God kissed my belly, making you extra blessed." I never forgot that, because I could relate. My son makes our life enriched with surprises and joy., his humor and insight fills us with laughter and wonder.
Mushy-mushy- moving on.....
He first asked to have (not use) a camera at 8 years old. I remember when I was young, longing for a Canon film camera., imagining images i could capture if only I had the tool to do so. So off we went and here you go., your very own point and shoot. Editing all images himself, he showed his work with no ego., simple straight forward. But we were all sorta amazed at what he captured. (See slide show below).
So it is a privilege today, seeing him as a pre -teen., when he wants to get behind the camera and work with mom. We spend time talking about art and photography. We work as a team. And we have this little bond. its a privilege to have a child so beautifully made, but when you can connect and share the same passion and talents (though I consider his far greater than mine) it makes life all the more darling!
He has made a name to refer to his work., below titled "Hill Photography" represents his eye ., what he caught on film. I hope you enjoy!
